Look Back on Prince....

Then known simply as "the royal baby," Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, making his first public appearance the next day when he left St. Mary's Hospital in London with his parents. On Wednesday, the little prince turns two, so to celebrate, we're taking a trip down memory lane with a look at his first moments in the public eye. At the time, Prince William called the moment "special" and teased the press, saying, "You guys can all go back to normal now." For the photo op, Kate donned a polka-dot Jenny Packham dress, and she said the birth of their son was "very emotional." Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed the Prince of Cambridge to the world at 4:24 p.m. London time. As they left the hospital, there was an iconic photo op reminiscent of when Princess Diana and Prince Charles held Prince William on the steps of the Lindo Wing. Hours after Prince George was born, the Middletons visited the royal baby, saying he was "absolutely beautiful." Well wishes also poured in from the royal family, and Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer also congratulated the new parents. To celebrate Prince George's second birthday, take a look at this royal flashback to his first public appearance!
